Mugen Rao started his career when he was 9 years old, because of his family’s financial problems he performed with his dad on the stage.
When he was 13 years old, Mugen’s uncle Sathis Rao helped him and gave him a role in the “Senandung Malam” Malay Movies. In this movie, he acted as a paperboy this was the first movie he acted in.
Mugen also has an interest in singing. In 2016, he established himself as a singer and directed the song “Kayalvizhi“. He also acted in a movie called “Ghora” and also acted in some short movies “Deepavali Special” and “Light up someone’s life”.
In 2019, he participated in Bigg Boss Season 3 Tamil which was hosted by Kamal Hassan, and Mugen wins the Title. Because of Bigg Boss, he became famous in Tamil Nadu.
He created a lot of album songs, and the songs are all went famous and viral among the young ones. The album song “Sathiyama Naan Solluren Di” is hit all around Tamilnadu. Mugen Rao’s Tamil debut movie is “Vettri” yet to be released in Dec 2021.
